  11. The Secret To A Long-Lasting At-Home Manicure
    1. Use a base coat on dry nails after you have clipped and filed them.
    2. Use a quality nail polish with a wide brush and apply at least two coats.
    3. Use a top coat with a thicker consistency and a high shine finish.
    4. Let the polish dry at least five minutes in between coats, and use drying drops after you apply the top coat.
  12. How To Paint Nails Evenly
    1. Wrap the tips by applying the polish brush perpendicular to the nail tip.
    2. Apply a dot near the base of the nail. The lunula (half-moon) is usually a good spot.
    3. Push the dot down toward the cuticle, but be careful to avoid the cuticle.
    4. Swoop deliberately outwards, following the natural curve of the nail.
    5. Continue to sweep upwards toward the tip of the nail, and smooth over the wrap.
    6. Repeat step 4 on the other side.
    7. Repeat step 5 on the other side.
    8. Starting at the base where you pushed down the dot, sweep straight to the tip.
    9. And voila! You have even coverage

    1. Remove old nail polish

    3. Soak feet in water + essential oil
